Absentee Ballots:
The last day to receive an absentee ballot by mail is the Friday before Election Day.
The last day to pick up an absentee ballot is the Saturday before Election Day at the Clerk's Office between 8:00am - 4:00pm.
The last day to receive an absentee ballot is on the Monday before Election Day at the Clerk's Office by 4:00pm. This must be voted in house.
Spoiled Ballots:
If you need to spoil your absentee ballot, you must fill out this affidavit, bring it to the Clerk's Office, and you can get a new ballot. If you make a mistake on your ballot, we must have the signed, written request for a new one.Drop Boxes:
City Hall (36535 Green St., New Baltimore, MI 48047) has several drop boxes: Front door (1), back door (2), parking lot (1)Election Day Hours:
Polls are are open from 7:00am - 8:00pm on Election Day.Election Day Results:
Election Day results are available at the Macomb County Website, or by calling 586-469-5209.Election Inspector:
Apply to be an Election Inspector! Qualifications include:You must be a United States Citizen
You cannot be related to someone running for office during that election
You must be registered to vote in the State of Michigan
Students as Election Inspectors:
Students can be Election Inspectors, too! Qualifications include:
You must be in high school over the age of 16
You must be a United States Citizen
You cannot be related to someone running for office during that election
Register to Vote:
You can register to vote at the Clerk's Office:
You can register to vote up until 8:00pm on Election Day
You must have a photo ID
You must show documentation with your current address
