Voting Precincts:

Absentee Ballots:

  • The last day to receive an absentee ballot by mail is the Friday before Election Day.

  • The last day to pick up an absentee ballot is the Saturday before Election Day at the Clerk's Office between 8:00am - 4:00pm.  

  • The last day to receive an absentee ballot is on the Monday before Election Day at the Clerk's Office by 4:00pm. This must be voted in house.

Spoiled Ballots:

If you need to spoil your absentee ballot, you must fill out this affidavit, bring it to the Clerk's Office, and you can get a new ballot. If you make a mistake on your ballot, we must have the signed, written request for a new one.

Drop Boxes:

City Hall (36535 Green St., New Baltimore, MI 48047) has several drop boxes: Front door (1), back door (2), parking lot (1)

Election Day Hours:

Polls are are open from 7:00am - 8:00pm on Election Day.

Election Inspector:

Apply to be an Election Inspector! Qualifications include:
  • You must be a United States Citizen

  • You cannot be related to someone running for office during that election

  • You must be registered to vote in the State of Michigan

Students as Election Inspectors:
Students can be Election Inspectors, too! Qualifications include:

  • You must be in high school over the age of 16

  • You must be a United States Citizen

  • You cannot be related to someone running for office during that election
