[ARCHIVED] Shut Off Notices - Utility Bills

SHUT OFF NOTICES

As of January, 2024 the City is resuming the Shut Off process.

  • 10 business days after the original quarterly billing due date, if there is still a balance on the account, a Shut Off Notice will be sent out. 
  • 10 additional business days are given to pay this balance. Account balances must be paid in full by this due date to avoid termination of water service. 
  • Water turn on/turn off fee: $46.00
    Water turn on/turn off fee after hours: $100.00 (after 3:00pm)
  • Payment arrangements must be made BEFORE a Shut Off Notice is sent out.
  • Failure to receive a bill does not alter the due date, or waive the penalty! 

Payment Options:

Drop Box: 3 drop boxes are located at City Hall. No cash, please! 
In Person: City Hall hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm 
Mail: Checks payable to City of New Baltimore. (We are not responsible for delivery delays by the Post Office). 
Online: Visit https://www.cityofnewbaltimore.org/313/Utility-Bill-Payments Payments will be posted immediately. 
*$4.95 processing fee for credit/debit cards. NO FEE for e-checks!

Set up automatic pay, e-billing, text notifications, etc. Keep track of your bill and upcoming due dates, and pay immediately!
